About De Garis Kindergarten
De Garis Kindergarten is a parent run sessional Kindergarten that operates out of Mildura City Council facilities. It has been operating for over 50 years and has expanded from a single unit to a double unit facility with funding received from Government Grants.

Committee of Management
De Garis Kindergarten operations are managed by a voluntary committee of management consisting of parents and community members whose children are attending the Kindergarten. They work closely with staff who are responsible for delivering quality kindergarten programs.

 

Family Involvement
Families are important to the success of our Kindergarten. The Kinder is managed solely by a committee of volunteer parents that strive to provide the best possible learning environment for the children. They work closely with the service director to ensure all departmental regulations are complied with and that the preschool remains a financially viable service.

De Garis Kinder Bus
The kinder bus design symbolises a number of important aspects of De Garis Kindergarten; a gathering place for learning, the journey that the children and their families are on, teachers guiding the children on the right path, children and families attending the kinder. Designed by local artist Peter Clarke.
